CVCCo Rec Ride - 16 May 10

10 Members met at the Lazo School Sunday morning for a nice ride. There were actually 3 more people that joined on the way - ;}. We ended up at Becky's for coffee and cinnamon rolls.

Sunday Recreation Rides

Here is a list of rides coming up.

All rides begin at 10 AM.

May 16 – Meet at the school on Guthrie (past Torrence) and ride to Lazo Rd., Point Holmes, Kye Bay viewpoint, past the airport – add Powell River ferry loop if the group wishes – (20-25 kms total with one short steep hill) - Google Path and Map

June 6 – Meet at the Filberg Centre (lower parking lot) and ride to Cumberland for coffee (25 kms total with some gradual climbing out to Cumberland) - Google Path and Map

June 20 – Meet at the Filberg Centre (lower parking lot) and ride out Headquarters to Merville (25 -30kms total with some gradual climbing on Headquarters)

July 4 – Meet at the school on the corner of Guthrie past Torrence and ride to the Cortes Bakery store at the end of Bates Road (30-35 kms total with minor hills)

July 18 – Meet at Filberg Centre (lower parking lot) and ride to Union Bay (30 kms total with minor hills)

Recreational Ride - 04 May 10

Sue Fabrizio lead four members on a 10 km ride on Sunday. The weather was good and the traffic light. Nice and flat. We all stopped at Zocalo's for coffee at the end.
