The B:C:Clettes are a women’s bike-inspired performance group and will be dancing and celebrating bikes on the Lewis Park Main Stage during Courtenay's Canada Day celebrations at 1 pm on July 1st.

Ed on the road

Ed Schum has just embarked on a 3 week unsupported ride from Courtenay, BC to San Francisco, CA.

En route he's planning to visit as many "Cycling Friendly Cities" as possible;

Seattle, WA
Portland, Corvallis, Eugene, OR
Davis, San Francisco, CA

Bike to Work week 2009

What a great week, an average of 50-70 folks stopped in at the Celebration Stations located around the Valley from 7-9am each morning.

There was an amazing response from the schools with 682 students and 83 staff riding and a huge amount of people seen pedaling around the Valley every day...
